Welcome to Hillians Netball Club Inc.
Hillians Netball Club Inc. provides competitive and social netball opportunities for players of all ages and abilities; NETSETGO (age 5 to 10 years), Junior, Open, Masters & Premier League Teams. Affiliated with the Kalamunda & Districts Netball Association, (KDNA), our club competes in the Winter Season with games being played at the Ray Owen Netball Centre, Lesmurdie, with Saturday fixtures and Friday afternoon games for NET and SET and Friday evenings for the Premier League Competition.
Teams are formed based on age and skill level, with team division placement determined by the KDNA Competitions & Grading Committee. Teams will train once a week either at the Maida Vale Netball Courts, Ray Owen Netball Courts with some teams training at their local primary school.
Hillians Netball Club Inc welcomes everyone who wants to be involved in netball — whether as a player, coach, umpire or volunteer.

Our story
Founded in 1972 at Gooseberry Hill Primary School, Hillians Netball Club Inc is proud to be one of the oldest clubs competing in the Kalamunda Districts Netball Association. The club has since grown to include schools from within the City of Kalamunda and beyond. We are a proud, family-oriented club that provides opportunities for all family members to participate and grow together
Hillians prides itself on promoting inclusivity, community engagement, and above all, a fun and friendly atmosphere. Our club colours of red and green represent the Red and Green Kangaroo Paw found growing throughout the hills area, symbolising our strong connection to the local community.
Our club has enjoyed strong success over the years, with teams competing in grand finals each season. Hillians players and coaches have proudly represented the Kalamunda Districts Netball Association Teams, participated in Metro League competitions and achieved selection into State School Girls Netball Teams and the Fever in Time program, highlighting our commitment to player development and excellence across all levels.

Our club offers a wide range of netball opportunities, welcoming participants at every stage of their journey — from those just starting out to seasoned competitors. A thrilling encounter saw the Roos come from behind to secure a crucial 1 point victory. Down by 12 points at halftime, captain Jake Morrison sparked the comeback with a brilliant individual goal in the late in the 3rd quarter. Young gun winger Tommy Chen sealed the win with a spectacular off-the-ground finish in the dying minutes. The defensive effort from Mike Stevens and Danny Walsh was outstanding, making crucial tackles when it mattered most.

Suncorp First Nations Round
Suncorp First Nations Round is a significant annual event in the Suncorp Super Netball (SSN) league, celebrating and acknowledging the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and players through unique artwork on specially designed dresses, cultural performances, and storytelling, often coinciding with Reconciliation Week or NAIDOC Week to foster unity and deeper cultural understanding within the sport.

2026 Registration Fee Schedule
Registration Fees for the 2026 season have increased by $10.00 per competition type. This increase is due to the Kalamunda & Districts Netball Association (KDNA) raising their fees, which has been passed on to clubs. Please note that Hillians Netball Club Inc has not increased our club fees for the 2026 Winter Season. For a full breakdown of registration costs, please select the “Read More” button.

KidSport
Did you know we’re a KidSport approved club?
If your child is 5 to 18 years old and listed on a health care card or pensioner concession card, you may be eligible for a KidSport voucher to help cover the cost of club fees.

KidSport is a flagship initiative of the WA Government, providing eligible children with financial assistance to participate in community sport. The program is run by CITS in partnership with local governments.
