When will the season start?
Winter Season of Netball will commence either last Friday in April or first Saturday in May.
How can I pay my registration fees?
Fees are paid online at time of registering. If you experience difficulty in paying your fees please contact our Treasurer at hillians.treasurer@gmail.com
Do I have to participate in any club Fundraising?
Hillians does not have any fundraising activities during the season, however the club does charge participants $40.00 for the season which covers all Windup Costs, Trophies & Medallions, Player, Coach & Assistant Coach end of year gifts, player team photos and all Coach Education & Course costs
as well as court hire for team training.
How are Teams decided?
Once registrati0ns have closed the Hillians Team Selection Committee will finalise the teams. They will endeavour to have all players in the best possible team that is appropriate and takes into account players positions and team balance is also a consideration when forming teams. Hillians asks that everyone is flexible with their expectations as player movement is inevitable from one season to the next.
Can I make a request as to what team my player is in?
We are happy to receive requests from players for team placement. Please note that the Team Selection Committee will try their best, however cannot guarantee they will be able to make it happen.
How are coaches selected and allocated to teams?
All our coaches are volunteers and the club aims to select coaches that align with our Code of Conduct and allocate to teams based on their experience and coaching accreditations.
Can I coach a team, assist or be a team manager?

When will I find out which team I am in?
Once all teams are formed, the coaches of each team will contact players to advise them of training times and days and advise them of any other information.
When do teams train and for how long?
Most Hillians teams train at Maida Vale courts or Ray Owen (on the outside courts), with some SET teams opting to train at their primary school. Training is usually 1 hour to 1.5 hours depending on the age of the team.
Will teams play on indoor or outside courts?
Teams will play on both indoor & outdoor courts throughout the season. As netball is a winter sport games will not be cancelled on the outdoor courts if it is raining - games are only cancelled if lightening is forecast.
Do we need to help with scoring, timing, fruit or umpiring on game days?
Each team will need to provide a scorer or timer each week - this will be done on a roster system during the season. Coaches/Team Managers may also request fruit or something similar to share.
Are players covered by insurance?
